Instruction for Yeast Mixture
- Take a deep bowl or measuring cup, add 1 and 3/4 cups of warm water(110 degree Fahrenheit). Add 3 tbsp sugar, 1 packet yeast, and 1/4 cup bread flour, Mix together and keep aside for 10 minutes in warm place.
Instruction for Hamburger Buns Dough
- In a big bowl, add 3 cups of bread flour.
- Take out the foamed yeast mixture, add egg and melted butter and mix together again.
- Add the egg, yeast mixture in the flour and mix together until it comes together. Dough will be wet and sticky. Let the dough rest for 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes, use slap and fold method to knead the dough for 10 minutes. The dough will come together.
- Take some oil and apply to the dough and keep it in warm place for 60 minutes for first proving, until the dough is doubled in size.
- Take the raised dough out and deflect it by lightly punching the dough, and make 100 grams equal portions. Take on big try and wrap it with non-stick aluminum foil. Roll the dough in small tight circles and put the buns in bun mold on a tray. Cover the tray and keep it aside for 30 minutes for 2 nd proving.
- Make the hamburger bun wash with milk, sugar and melted butter. Take a brush and apply the milk wash on the buns.
- Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of everything bagel on milk washed buns.
- Preheat the oven at 360 degree Fahrenheit, put the hamburger tray in oven and bake for 25 minutes.
- After 25 minutes, take the hamburger buns out from oven and let it rest for 10 minutes.
